Andrew Pierce met Ashley Hudson at the church they both were a part of in Hamburg. They realized at the time that it was a perfect match. Ashley was 17 and hadn't had a boyfriend, so the two took things really slow. But, it was romance at first sight. The day before New Year's Eve, just before the start of 2016 Andrew asked God to bless him with one last thing that was to come... in the hope that Ashley would say yes and marry him. Ashley was looking for an authentic folk-style wedding to represent her and Andrew. For their dream wedding, they chose to incorporate elements of everything they cherish. The venue chosen was on the 40 acres back of the land Ashley grew up on. Ashley and Andrew had played, explored, and walked the entire trail which led them to the spot in which they got married "I do" in Ashley. Andrew and Ashley have also visited several times since they began dating. The couple performed the majority of the DIY which is why personalizing it is essential. Andrew's dad and Ashley as well as Ashley created the wedding ceremony and the seating arch. Ashley made and painted some of the decorations for the wedding. Ashley says that she would have been disappointed if Anna Floral Designer at Magnolia Belle Floral had not completed her incredible floral design for us, the wedding might not have had the magical feeling I hoped it would. It truly is breathtaking.
